Fortunately summer
and its second cousin heat haven’t quite put a stop to my other favorite
activity, reading.
At long last I’ve
updated my Tiki Reads page. In case
anyone but me cares. Lo and behold I
have only 8 more books to make it all the way through the alphabet. And I think I’ve found a way to put a dent in
that number, as well as my TBR hallway, courtesy of Dr. Who. Because, in my ceaseless attempts to collect
everything, I have enough of the BBC Dr. Who books to fill in at least 5 more
letters of the alphabet. I could use
some suggestions for A, X and Z. Reading
the classics would be more enriching I guess, but I’m in this for the fun.
Happy reading
World.
Wow, your Doctor Who book stack is impressive! The one I have is a tiny, almost pulp-ish looking paperback that I found at a used book store, but the print in it is really tiny, so it might be the same length and just a different edition. :S
ReplyDeleteLove your Doctor Who book collection! Where did you find them all? I just recently got into Doctor Who (I'm on the sixth season of New Who) and I didn't even realize there were books. Enjoy your reading! :)
ReplyDeleteNice books - I'll be on the lookout for those. Didn't know they made them!
ReplyDeleteIf I could recommend? For A? 'Alice I Have Been' or 'All My Friends are Dead' or 'Anna Dressed in Blood'. Three different genres!
There are some kids' books called Xtreme Mysteries - I don't know of any other books besides um, erotica, with X in the title.
Hmm, Z - 'A Girl Named Zippy' is cute, sorta feel-good, or there's always 'Married with Zombies', first in the Living with the Dead series. I haven't read those, but they're supposed to be good!
Wow, I envy your DW pile! Same as missy-tannenbaum, mine are just tinies from a second hand book store, lol :D
ReplyDeleteGoof luck with the challenge too - I think I will need hints for some of tha last letters of the alphabet too! For X I personnaly plan to read something Xmen- related :D
Glad to know I'm not the only person who collects the Who books! But I only have the entire set of the new series (and the Torchwoods). Unfortunately, I've only read the first one! I'm a bad Whovian!!
