TAL January Mid-month Flowers/Trees

So I decided to join this years’ Theme-a-licious sponsored by It’s Geek to Me.  This year there are two categories, the regular and a separate Christmas theme.

January’s theme is jardin, which is French for garden.  I’m working on Bienvenue, which is French for welcome.  Actually, there are some flowers in there too.  Not that you can tell so far.

Here it is at the beginning of the year.

And currently:

Still only one flower, but the heart is cute.

The Christmas theme for January is tree or wreath.  Taking just short of forever to decide, I finally went with this little piece designed by Zoe Halstead.

Which now looks like this:

I plan/hope to finish the trees this month.  Bienvenue, I hope/plan to finish before the sheep make it eligible for the June theme.

Happy stitching World.
